Makeover: Crazy Long To Dimensional Pink/Rose Gold

Maggie Mulhern | September 15, 2016 | 7:02 AM

Presley Poe (@presleypoe) a platform artist and artistic educator based at The Parlour St. John's, Portland, Oregon, had a lot of fun with her long time friend, Cassie.

"She flew half way across the country from the Midwest to the west coast to get her hair done by me," Poe says. "We chose rose gold because it would be an easy upkeep for her at home with tinted conditioner until I see her again in 6 months."

Poe shares the details on how-to achieve this look:

STEP 1: Cut 12 inches off the hair.

STEP 2: In a balayage application, apply Pravana 3/4 Pure Light Balayage Lightener to 1/4 Pure Light Power Lightener with high volume. Incubate with meche sheets at room temperature for 55 minutes.

STEP 3: Lift to a level 9G. Apply equal parts Pravana Vivids Too Cute Coral and Pink for a full color application.

STEP 4: Process at room temperature for 20 minutes.

So with protection and hair health being the two key benefits of the additive, she was all in.
