COLLECTION: Tekstur & Reverse Ombre Hair Color by Faatemah Ampey

Photo 1 of 1

Tekstur by Editorial Stylist Faatemah Ampey features four distinct looks, utilizing reverse ombre and colormelting hair color techniques to complement each style. Norwegian for “texture” or “grain” the term “Tekstur” inspired Ampey to create a mixture of voluptuous waves, frothy curls, and tight knotted styles seen in the knotted braid and crown. For styling, Ampey used synthetic hair and a “hair fromage” technique to create the hair cocoon. Using L’Oreal Professionnel hair color, Ampey’s latest color obsession is mixing together warm and cool tones—as seen in the frothy reverse ombre with pops of red.
