Founded in 1963 in London, with more than 475 salons across 48 countries, Toni&Guy is a global leader in haircare education, expertise, and client service. The heritage hairdressing brand debuted their new women’s and men’s cut and color techniques and collections during their Creative Release in Dallas on October 23, 2016.

This event brings together Toni&Guy stylists, students, salon owners, beauty professionals and the Toni&Guy family of educators and artists.

The charismatic Zak Mascolo, Creative Director of the Americas, took the stage with the National Art Team to demonstrate and inspire.

Advanced hands-on hairdressing classes were offered to attendees. The brand also debuted an apparel line designed for salon wear. The limited edition collection, which is comprised of style names that pay homage to members of the Mascolo family, features versatile pieces for both men and women in the hairdressing industry.

Two new collections debuted:  “Euphoria” and “Alter Ego.”  Euphoria offers  a series of five advanced cut and color techniques, while Alter Ego features clipper cut techniques, coinciding with the debut of men’s clipper cuts to be offered as a service at Toni&Guy salons in the Americas. With five styles to select from, each uses an innovative cutting technique that goes beyond scissor-over-comb grooming.

“We’ve mastered men’s cuts using traditional scissor methods and always knew that we wanted to introduce a forward-thinking technique using clippers,” said Zak Mascolo. “Our Alter Ego offerings are unique to Toni&Guy and we’re excited to provide men with the next wave in grooming.”

Following the showcase portion of the event were the brand’s Photographic Awards, where stylists, students, and Toni&Guy alumni were celebrated and honored in categories such as ‘Best Student Cut’ and ‘Hairdresser of the Year.’
