Lots of clients come in wanting to cover their gray hair or do a little gray blending here and there. But, have you ever had a client come in wanting...MORE gray hair?

This was exactly the situation for Diamond & Curls hair colorist, Darcy Carpentier (Insta: @hairbydarcy). Her new client came in ready to embrace her gray, but the problem was she didn't have enough of it.

"I highlighted her hair all over, lifted her to a level 9 with Wella Blondor, and then deposited (very quickly at the shampoo bowl with Schwarzkopf Professional's IGORA Royal 1-1 (blue black). It's a little trick I picked up by accident once. But if you're quick and watchful, it makes lighened hair a beautiful gray color!"

Afterwards, Carpentier gave her a short, layered cut and styled her with Kenra's Volume Mousse and Silkening Gloss. Then, she blow dried her hair until it was 80% dry, round brushed and finished off her style with Kenra's Volume Spray.
