Marianne Lohr (@mannie_mak) of Bethlehem, PA, says, "My new client's hair was very damaged on the ends from getting her hair colored and bleached - not professionally - for several years. Her color was very uneven with a couple of bands. She was looking for something low maintenance to go well with her natural color which is a level 3/4."

Here Lohr shares how she achieved the new look:

Step 1: Shampoo and towel dry. Fill the hair with Wella Color Touch 7/3,7/43, 6/3  and 1.9%. Process for 25 minutes.

Step 2: Apply base color with Wella Color Touch 3/0, 5/0 and 1.9%. Process for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Balayage using Wella Freelights 30 volume. Wrap in plastic wrap and put under the dryer for 25 minutes.

Step 4: Shampoo with Matrix So Silver and towel dry.

Step 5: To glaze, apply Wella Color Touch 8/81, 7/0 and 1.9%. Process for 20 minutes. Condition and rinse with cool water.

Step 6: Style with the 1 inch  BabylissPro curling iron.
