Old Ombre To Dimensional Brunette

Maggie Mulhern | December 29, 2016 | 5:31 AM

Connie Delamora (@ConnieCouture) of Studio One Salon, Kennewick, Washington, says, "My client came in to me with a grown out balayage from summer. She was ready for change. I first started by removing about 6 inches to have a better idea of where I would be painting with lightener."

Here Delamora shares the details for the color:

Step 1: Weave out some pieces to create a highlighted effect. Apply Kenra No Ammonia lightener with 30 volume and Olaplex.

Step 2: Process for 25 minutes, lifting to a level 7. Apply Wella Post Color Treatment. Rinse and towel dry.

Step 3: Apply Kenra Demi 4N & 4RB with 9 volume to her roots to create a shadow. Then apply Kenra Demi 6RV & 9 volume from midshaft to ends.

Step 4: Process for 30 minutes and then shampoo and condition.

MAKEOVER: Three Sessions Of Beauty

Jenn Malone (@jmalonehair) at Agence Salon, San Dimas, California, says her client "had 85% virgin hair. Her goal is to be a 'rooty' platinum blonde while still keeping the 'lived in' look. My main goal was to get her to her desired color, while still maintaining the integrity of her hair. Patience is the key in achieving this!" How to here.
