Here's some more info on each of the products I tried out first-hand!
AETO Botanica Bamboo & Wild Mango Fortifying Mask: Currently, my
hair is in need of a hair cut. The ends are splitting and more and more
âfly-aways' are popping up. I haven't had much time the past few days to
schedule a hair appointment, so I decided instead to use this product;
hoping it would âpatch up' my hair a little. I applied this mask to my hair right after shampooing and I let it sit in for a couple minutes. According to the bottle, after only four treatments hair's resistance to breakages is increased by 47 percent. I did as the bottle instructed, and used this product four times after shampooing to see what the final result would be. After the first use, my hair felt moisturized and instantly detangled. I remember after letting my hair absorb the product, I could easily run my fingers through my hair without them getting caught. After the fourth use, I realized that my split ends were less noticeable and in some cases completely gone! My hair felt a lot healthier.
AETO Botanica Fortifying Mask |
This "botanical butter" is ideal for all types of weak, over-worked hair. If your client wants a product that will detangle and moisturize their hair naturally, try this mask.
AETO Botanica Bamboo & Hibiscus Fortifying Conditioner: When I
picked up this conditioner to use it, the first thing I looked at were
the ingredients. The conditioner is blended with ECOCERT Certified
derivatives of coconut, palm kernel oils, guar gum, bamboo and hibiscus.
I was curious about the hibiscus part so I did a little research: The plant has been used for 2000 years as a food source (it can be served as a hot or cold drink). Its seeds contain highly nutritious proteins, calcium and vitamins.

Red Hibiscus | White Hibiscus |
Hibiscus, especially white and red hibiscus, can be boiled in oil along with other spices
to make a medicated hair oil to prevent greying and hair loss. In India, the leaves and
flowers are ground into a fine paste with a little water and the resulting lathery paste is
used as a shampoo plus conditioner.
The milk from the hibiscus seeds effectively moisturizes and repairs all hair types while
reinforcing its structure and shine. The botanical milk in this conditioner acts as a natural
substitute from milk derived from animals.
And guess what, all of that goodness is right in AETO's conditioner! AETO Botanica Bamboo & Yucca
Fortifying
Shampoo: The extracts in this
shampoo are rich in amino acids,
proteins
and starches. They aid in strengthening and
moisture retention.
This shampoo was very
gentle and light-weight. Like all of the other
products, it had a very subtle natural perfume
scent.
