For the perfect shade of blonde to take your clients from summer into fall, just check out the August cover of Harper's Bazaar. Cameron Diaz's blonde mane was one of the hottest this summer—and seen all over the world as she traveled to promote her movie, Knight & Day, with Tom Cruise.

Celebrity colorist and Redken's Creative Consultant for Color, Tracey Cunningham, created Diaz's stunning blonde look for this cover. Here's the formula she used.

1. Apply equal parts of Redken Shades EQ 09AA Papaya, 09G Vanilla Crème and Redken ShadesEQ Processing Solution. Shades EQ is a demi-permanent color, which can be used as a glaze or color refresher, and is ideal for color correction.
2. For added dimension, add highlights with Redken Blonde Icing Ammonia Free Conditioning Crème Lightener. Blonde Icing Conditioning Crème Lightener is ammonia free and lifts hair up to 7 levels.
3. Concentrate the highlights closer around the face, then diminishing in the back.
4. Finish with a glaze of Shades EQ 000 Crystal Clear for extra shine.
