Surprise, surprise--Chloe Sevigny’s turning heads again, but this time it isn’t just for her daring fashion. On the cover of XOXO magazine’s September issue, the actress debuts an edgy new cut--partial side shave!--and warm strawberry blonde color styled by her longtime stylist Jeff Francis that we could see daring clients lusting after and grabbing inspiration from as they head into a new season.

The subdued indie film queen and fashion icon has stayed out of the spotlight a bit over the past year since she wrapped filming her HBO series “Big Love,” but her hairstyles have been anything but low key. Since trading in her lengthy, tousled blonde waves for a slightly rooty, blonde bob in 2010, Chloe has experimented with several cuts and styles, many in 2012 alone. Let’s rewind to check out a few of her most dramatic and eye-catching looks.

	Can you even remember Chloe with longer locks? The star always looked ultra-glam on the red carpet with looks like this romantic low ponytail of cascading waves.

 

	She debuted the new ‘do earlier in the summer--for her role in the TV series “Hit and Miss” as an assassin--but Chloe made more noise when she rocked the new chocolate brown look on the runway in Paris. And how about those heavy brows?

 

	Though she quickly ditched the dark brown color, Chloe tries out a nearly auburn-blonde shade and fringe following her dramatic hair change.

 

	At the MOMA Costume Institute Gala, Chloe revved up the volume and texture to her usually flat and fine shag to create a sexy, flirty style. We also see her continue to lighten and brighten her shade as she makes her way back to her usual golden blonde color.
