Anne Hathaway's Healthy Highlights

“Smooth, soft curls and natural, undone texture are two of the most popular trends we’re seeing for spring and summer, and Anne Hathaway’s ’do is a little bit of both,” says Sonya Metzler, Creative Director of Vim Fitness Spa and Salon, Cambridge, Massachusetts. “Her style is grown-up, but still playful, and the slight curl conveys an air of liveliness.” Hathaway’s style is one that moves beautifully, and the glossy shine makes hair look healthy and beautiful.

Try it: “Prep damp hair with Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother to prevent fl yaways. Then apply Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam for volume and light hold,” says Metzler. “Use your fi ngers to create an imperfect, natural part—and blow hair dry with a round brush. Add curls and waves as desired with a one-inch or larger curling iron. Rake through with fi ngers for a more organic feel, or smooth out with a wide-tooth comb. Finish with a light mist of Aveda Air Control hair spray.”
