Male clients can expect bold silhouettes this fall with styles that rely on length, fullness, curls and texture for shapes that are anything but ordinary. This trend comes from Theri DeJoode, technical director for American Crew.
She predicts increased fullness with length in the front—not the old hanging-in the-face length—but length with off-the-face gravity defying height. Clients with natural curl or waves are best suited to these styles, but American Crew’s latest collection, Informant, also includes classic tapers and close-cut, hairlines.
DeJoode emphasizes the importance of well-conditioned hair. “Begin with clean hair and any of American Crew’s conditioners,” she says. “Keeping hair properly conditioned will help bring out the individual’s best texture.” Visit americancrew.com.
