The stunning Modern Fairytales collection earned Matrix Artistic Design Team members Brian and Sandra Smith a 2009 North American Hairstyling Award as Master Stylists of the Year.
The NAHA Masters Category showcases an exclusive group of invitation-only entries in which the judges look for “groundbreaking” and “inspiring” work.
This husband and wife team are no strangers to awards. They have been NAHA finalists ten times and have previously won in the Avant Garde and Hair Color categories.
Avant Garde make-overs and long hair dressing are two of the Smiths’ special talents, and both came into play, along with an array of Matrix products, to create the Modern Fairytales collection where each style is an individual work of art.
The fanciful looks suggest feathers, crowns, branches and magical designs that bring to life our favorite fairytale queens, princesses and woodland spirits.
