In Tribal Boudoir, the looks were created by Anthony Licata, the creative director at Mahogany Education.
The styles are a fusion of two disparate influences: the rich and dramatic shades and the exotic bangles of African tribal dress and the often-erotic images by photographer Helmut Newton who captured both the romantic and natural sides of his female subjects.
Deep shades of hair color, dark and gilded make-up and heavy metal and natural bead necklaces make for a dichotomy of the primitive and the sophisticated.
