Before.
Cleanse hair with a purifying shampoo. Leave on for five minutes rinse and then
towel-blot to remove excess moisture. While the shampoo is sitting on the hair,
place smoothing treatment in bowl. About 1 oz for an average head of long hair.
Apply the smoothing treatment using brush and bowl. Place from 1/8 inch off roots
to ends in ¼-inch sections.
Comb through to evenly distribute the product, then process for 15 minutes.
Do not shampoo.
After processing, blow dry the hair over a round or paddle brush. Work from the
nape up to the crown and then into the sides in ½-inch sections. Using maximum
heat, direct airflow away from the head to smooth the cuticle. Dryer should be
approximately ½-inch off the brush.
Flatiron at 410° F in ¼-inch sections, slowly running through each section five times.
