Created using Schwarzkopf Igora 6-888 + 6-88 + 20 volume on natural level 5.

L'Oreal Professionnel HiColor Highlights in Magenta, with 40 Volume Developer.

Mariah Joseph, a student at Capri College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, created this red using Redken Fusions 1/4 7R + 1/4 7CC + 1/4 HiFusions R + 1/4 Hi Fusions o with 30 Volume Developer.

Melissa Diaz posted this copper red to our wall. It was created using Joico Vero KPAK color 7XR for the base. Then, Pravana Vivids in Orange were foiled through.

MODERN Facebook fan, and Schwarzkopf educator, Jim Robeson created this Ariel-esque redhead using Schwarzkopf Igora Color 10 6-88 with lowlights 4-89. Both are cool reds, but one has a violet reflective quality, he says.

MODERN fan Dustin Tew used Wella color to create this orangey/copper red that looks stunning in the sun: 6/34 + 7/43 and highlights.

MODERN Facebook fan Shay Gonzalez shared this ombre-inspired redhead--here's how she did it on a Natural Level 6:

Use Wella Color Touch 66/45+ 1.9% from base to 2-3 inches down the shaft. Take diagonal-back sections starting at the nape and appy 3/4 oz 77/45+ 1/4 oz 0/00+ 1.9% to mid shafts leaving 2-3 inches of ends out (use brush vertically to melt sections together), separating with perforated seran wrap sheets. Apply 20 vol + Blondor to ends. Continue working diagonally back up the head to the top. After 20 min, shampoo and tone with Color Touch Relights /34 for 15 min.
