Taking a cue from online retailers, Cosmoprof North America is joining the popular trend of offering sample-size products with its own Beautique sampling program debuting at 2013 Cosmoprof North America.
Online retailers have many variations on this concept, but CPNA is the first trade exhibition to organize a customized sampling program for show attendees featuring exhibitors’ products. Attendees can visit the Beautique sampling shop to select seven product samples from 20 participating exhibitors. The products, which will include hair, nail, skin care and classic beauty products, can be obtained for a $10 fee with all proceeds benefiting City of Hope.
The Beautique sampling shop will be located on the main show floor and will be open throughout the show. The program promises to be a value-added experience for both participating brands and attendees. The official sponsor of Beautique is HCT Packaging, which is creating a customized box for the samples. A list of the brands participating in the Beautique sampling program will be announced in May.
