These days, anyone and everyone can pose as an expert, and they do. Do we want a 13-year-old blogger telling women how to use products because we, the actual experts, haven’t gotten around to posting content?
Back in the 80’s, Madonna and others made dramatic fashion statements that others copied, but today style makers like Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Kelly Osborne and even Lauren Conrad with her dip dyed ends, change looks so often, they don’t want us to necessarily copy their look, they want to inspire us to think beyond the mainstream of fashion and beauty.
We’ve all seen it, blondes can either be bombshells like Marilyn Monroe, or they can just bomb like some of the young Hollywood crowd that shall remain nameless. To avoid mishaps, I always ask two questions, “Cool or Warm?” and “Dark or Light?”
