These Vomor lashes can easily be applied by an esthetician or a stylist and last for 10 days.

When it comes to boosting your average client ticket, you can do it with treatments, extensions and recommended products. Or you can find revenue success with something as small as lashes.

VoMor recently expanded its lash collection to include 10-Day Lashes, the perfect option for clients who want their lashes to last for a week or so, but don’t want to commit to traditional lash extensions.

“It’s great for guests who have something special coming up like a vacation, prom, family photos or wedding, and they want a little extra pop,” says Kippin Fuller, stylist/manager at Davanti Salons and Spa in Fort Worth, Texas, and VoMor Educator. “And they can be applied in 15-20 minutes in the chair or treatment room.”

Revenue for the Salon and Spa

Having an add-on service both stylists and estheticians can tap into has been especially great for the Davanti team.

“We were a test salon and our entire team loves them,” says Fuller.

"This is the stylists' answer to lashing. It's low commitment inventory and they can do the service in the chair while their client is processing."

"And my esthetician is using the 10-Day Lashes to build her books--she can apply them in the treatment room after a facial."

For just $60 (Davanti’s price—VoMor recommends between $50-$60), 10-Day Lashes are an attractive add-on to guests, too.

“I wear my lashes, and when guests comment on how good they look, I thank them and ask if they’d like to leave the salon with lashes like mine,” Fuller says.

Jason Snyder, director of sales and education at VoMor says, “10-Day Lashes can be applied by anyone in the salon anywhere a guest can sit. They’re a retail item your guests can wear out the door, looking their best.”

While revenue amounts from 10-Day Lashes will vary based on the size of your team, Snyder shares a general picture of what the service can do for your bottom line.

“If we use an eight-chair salon as an example with only two service providers offering 10-Day Lashes, doing three services each per week (six services probably out of 45 transactions) this could estimate an additional $1,400-$1,500 extra retail dollars monthly or up to $18,000 for the year,” Synder says.

The 10-Day Styles

VoMor 10-Day Lashes are strips applied in segments on the underside of top lashes, giving an open-eye effect. Guests can choose from three different looks:

Classic: for a long, elegant look (like you were born with perfect lashes)
Volume: for a fluffy, flirty, bat-your-eyes style
Mega Volume: For the bold, high-drama look

Lashes can be applied in as little as 10 mintues and last more than a week.

“For our clients who don’t want to spend three hours getting lash extensions that have to be filled every 14 days, 10-Day Lashes are the answer,” Fuller says. “My clientele is a lot of corporate women speaking at conferences who want to look good on stage, and these are perfect for them.

“They’re also a good complement to lash lifts and lash tints—a great upsell for estheticians.”
