"Back to basics" is how actress Emma Roberts captioned her new look when it debuted on Instagram. Most recently a blonde, Roberts trusted colorist Nikki Lee @nikkilee901 of Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles to transition her to these vibrant tones.

"Emma’s the queen of change and wears it so well every time," says Lee. "What I love the most about when she’s brunette is how much it brings out her eyes and suits her skin tone. It’s one of my favorite colors on her. To keep Emma’s color locked in and hydrated I recommend using Magic Myst by In Common."
