Mahaffey accommodated:
Step 1: Balayage throughout with Redken Flash Lift with alternating 30 and 20 volume devevlopers, both blended with Olaplex.
Step 2: Process for 45 minutes, lifting to level 7/8 brassy blonde. ("Her hair was compromised so I held back a bit.") Rinse and apply Olaplex #2 for 10 minutes and then shampoo with Pravana Pure Light. Dry completely.
Step 3:Apply in a root melt technique using Pravana 4.37 2 oz. and a ribbon of 5.37 with zero lift developer.
Step 4: For an overlay apply Kenra Creatives Color Magenta. ("I used a magenta because that will cover those darker level blondes without turning a funky muddy color!")
