Wella Trend Vision offers hairdressers the chance to feature their authentic interpretation of two trend movements in an international competition that will test, increase and encourage their creativity.
The two trends are:
SPRING/SUMMER TREND: MOLTEN ECAILLE:
Inspired by the soft and smooth flow of metals, the Molten Ecaille Collection features a rich assortment of colors that combine to create unique looks for clients.
The trend is completely versatile with light and shade patterns that can be outlined in the following nine different interpretations reflecting precious metals, which are: Rose Gold Ecaille, Burnished Bronze Ecaille, Elegant Ebony Ecaille, Rich Copper Ecaille, Black Pearl Ecaille, Polished Platinum Ecaille, Molten Glow Ecaille, Soft Suede Ecaille and Raw Ore Ecaille.
Trend pioneer, Hester Wernert-Rijn describes the look as, “…a new movement in craftsmanship and beauty rituals which gives the client the ultimate luxury experience in salon.”
Placing an emphasis on hairdressers and the craft of color application, the trend allows for fluid, sophisticated looks that are already trending on the runway and in the beauty world.
AUTUMN/WINTER TREND: BRONDE LUXE:
The intersection of comfort and beauty forge the Bronde Luxe trend. Drawing inspiration from subtle neutrals and luxurious textures and shapes, the Bronde Luxe look features sophisticated beauty through a bespoke color craft combining the most classic shades – blonde and brunette.
On the AW ’16 runway, luxe comfort was a common theme. Silky neutrals and subtle design elements created luxurious combinations of textures. The understated looks were elegant and unique to each model, fusing comfort with prestige.
The various Bronde Luxe looks are rich and natural-looking, surrounding the senses with warmth, strategically placing light and shadow to lift color and give each client a personalized look.
Wella Creative Director, Reiner Sauter describes the diversity of the trend stating, “Natural looking color remains the main trend in the industry. Bronde is a hot hair trend to create a natural transition from brunette to blonde. BUT the perception in the industry is Bronde is only for Brunettes. As the leading brand in color we have every right to show there is more than one Bronde – this is Bronde Luxe!”
Inclusive of seven different looks using the bronde technique, the trend provides endless color options that are Vronde, Olive Bronde, Smokey Bronde, Caramel Bronde, Coffee Bronde, Ice Bronde and Ronze.
