Salty manes, beachy waves and sun-kissed color.
Since the launch of our Making Waves contest, these are the looks we've been obsessing over. After receiving thousands of entries, we've finally narrowed it down to 10 semifinalists!
Along with major bragging rights, this group of 10 semifinalists will receive incredible prizes, including a gift box packed with goodies (it’s seriously PACKED) from some of our favorites— Alfparf, Alterna, ColorTrak, Goldwelland Product Club.
These pro beauty brands pulled out all the stops for these boxes! With the goodies inside, the semifinalists have the power to up their styling business and create perfect summer hair.
Semifinalists will be asked to create their best style on sun-kissed, balayage-perfect hair by 11:59 p.m. CST on July 8. Entries will be judged by Trae Howard @traehowardhair,Amy Baugh@hairbyamybee, Marissa Sue Madsen@hairbymarissasue, Megan Moran@megahairmaniac, Frances Canola@frances_hairartist, and MODERN SALON editors.

In the following round, the top-five finalists will have an AMAZING challenge box shipped to them with the products and tools they’ll need to complete their final challenge, courtesy of Z.One Milk_Shake.
