From the beginning of her career, Celina Bristow, (@dirtyponymagic) of Riverside, California, grew up in the punk scene and became the "go to" girl for mohawks, charged hair, bleached out looks, neon red finishes and intense locks. Bristow, a former assistant to Maria Santana (@myhairfixation), now works with her as a team, and together have strong looks perfected. "We demo haircuts and color for our local cosmetology school to give back to the community," she says. "This was a look we created for a night class at the Riverside Community College Cosmetology program."

Here she shares the color HOW TO on this model who started off with level 5 red brown hair and 1 inch of level 7 regrowth.

Step 1: Apply Redken Flashlift with 40 volume and Olaplex and processed for 55 minutes (avoiding regrowth) on the entirety of the hair.

Step 2: Tone at the bowl with Redken Shades EQ 07V & 09B to make a level 8 beige blonde.  Apply Olaplex no. 2 for 20 minutes, rinse, shampoo and blow dry.

Step 3: Using a tint brush, apply Pravana Chromasilk 4N with zerolift developer to the virgin regrowth. Then, using a cosmetic sponge, "blur" the base color up about another 1/4 inch into the prelightened hair.

Step 4: To the mid shaft apply an eggplant color: Pravana Vivids: 10g of Wild Orchid and 5g.

Step 5: From mid shaft to ends apply a chartreuse shade: Pravana Vivids: 20g yellow, a tear drop of orange, a tear drop of green and 7g of neon yellow.

Step 6: Using a cosmetic sponge, "blur" the harsh lines created by the brush to melt the color seamlessly together. Process for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.
