"This Firecracker came to me with what was once a blue to violet ombre," says Dessiree Oberhaus (@dessiree_xg). "It faded back to blonde and teal." We loved this transformation and tracked down Oberhaus to get more details. Here she shares:

Step 1: Apply Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener and 10 Vol (Natural level 7) at the base.

Step 2: Color Balance the teal and feather to the ends where necessary with 1:1:1 SynchroLift:10Vol:ShampooOne.

Step 3: Rinse and condition with Super Strengthener Treatment. Then apply 6R PM Shines for about 5-6 minutes. "This gives a nice base for the red, and allows for better fading."

Step 4: Apply from scalp to ends: Pravana Vivids with a ratio of 2:1 I mixed Red(4oz) and Orange(2oz).  "I also laid a shadow box and a couple foils around the front (horizontal diagonal back) using Pravana Vivids Wild Orchid, Red 1:1 and added just a pinch of Blue. Literally only a little drop for depth."
