This color correction, by Nichole Gustas (@nicholedoeshair) of The Swank Studio, Oceanside, CA, had quite a challenge. Her natural level 3 client arrived to the salon sporting a complicated situation. Not only had one salon "botched" the color, but the client then tried to "fix" it herself. The client arrived one day later and this is what Gustas did to correct the situation:

FORMULA 1

HOW TO:

STEP 1: Section hair into 4 quadrants.

STEP 2: Apply formula 1 to the virgin hair. Make sure not to go beyond the line of demarcation.

STEP 3: Using formula 2, free hand paint lowlights throughout the 4 quadrants.

STEP 4: Feather and smudge formula 1 and 2 together.

STEP 6: After processing, rinse and then toned with Formula 4 watching closely (for about 4-5 minutes).

STEP 8: Deep condition with Unite U Luxury Intense Mask.
