"She saw some of his other platinum/silver color corrections and wanted the same outcome," says colleague Renee Sarich. "While Karl never makes lofty promises to clients when they want to go this light, his slow and steady approach to color brought his clients hair to a the level 10 he needed to achieve the look. She was over-the-moon excited with the outcome and has booked her next root retouch."
How-to: Over-the-moon blonde
Step 1: To the root area, apply Wella Blondor + 20Vol (1:1/2) and 1/8 oz Olaplex.
Step 2: Process until the underlying pigment matches the ends.
Step 3: Apply Blondor + 6vol (1:2) and 1/8 oz Olaplex to mid shaft and ends.
Step 4: Process until overall underlying pigment of a level 10.
Step 5: Tone using 9/01 Wella ColorTouch + 6Vol (1:2).
Step 6: Process for 15mins and follow with Olaplex step 2.
