The gathering will feature the 2012 Wella International Trend Vision Collection, The Sound of Color. The looks, presented in Madrid at the Wella 2012 Trend Vision Awards, will offer a preview of hair fashion for the coming year. Two stylists from Team I.C.A.N. (Integrity, Courage, Ambition, Next), Wella’s team of young talent, will present the trends and how to transition the looks into the salon. Kathryn Hornick of Minneapolis and Brenton Lee of West Covina, California will interpret the Sound of Color looks for CC members.

“We are so honored that CC has chosen to put a spot light on the next generation of professionals,” says Sementilli. “Their career potential is unlimited and we intend to support them all the way.” Hornick describes herself as edgy and inspired by the 1980s and Lee is a self-described “classy urbanite” and a winner of CC’s STARS Photo Competition.
Sementilli will share highlights of the past year at Wella and discuss the third annual America’s Beauty Show Student Stylist Competition which will be held March 11, 2013 at Chicago’s McCormick Place during ABS.
“Cosmetologist Chicago is proud to continually bring high-caliber talent to our members and professional friends,” says CC President Frank Gironda. “Fabio’s innovative style, coupled with his strength in mentoring the next generation of stylists, is something we can all be inspired by,” added Joseph Cartagena, vice president of CC.
