Cosmoprof's Fashion Frenzy: Jessica Fair Announced As Winner!
Jessica Fair is announced as the winner of Fashion Frenzy, the Cosmoprof student competition. The finale took place during the Intercoiffure Spring Symposium in Hollywood, Florida.

THE EVENT: Cosmoprof's FASHION FRENZY, the student competition for fashionable hairstyling.
THE DETAILS: The six finalists of Cosmprof's competition were invited to compete during the Intercoiffure Spring Symposium, held in Hollywood, Florida. The finalists, all attending beauty schools in North America, were selected from hundreds of entries of finished looks on mannequin heads.
AND THE WINNER IS: Jessica Fair from Empire Beauty School, Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, was announced as the overall winner. The announcement came live on stage from Fashion Frenzy MC Luis Alvarez and Intercoiffure president Lois Christie. Second place (a tie!) went to Erin Phenix (Regency Beauty Institute, Duluth) and Valentina Perez (Tricoci University, Chicago) and the third place honor went to Chelsea Hall (Capitol Beauty School, Omaha). The other finalists included Royse Wilson (Maryland Community College, Asheville, NC) and Anna Peters (Durham College, Ontario).
THE MENTORS: What made this competition even more exciting for the students was the mentorship offered during their Florida visit. In addition to Luis Alvarez (Aquage), Rocky Vitelli (Farouk) offered behind the scenes technical assistance and The Doves (Wella) offered guidance and inspiration.
THE PRIZES: All six finalists received gifts from Wella, Farouk (CHI Red Splash straightening iron and travel pack of products), Aquage and GHD (the one inch Gold Flat iron) and an invitation to attend an Aquage Master Class Academy. Jessica Fair won the new GHD Air Blowdryer, CHI Touch Dryer, a photo shoot with Babek and Luis Alvarez for the cover of the Cosmprof September Shopping Guide and an invitation to attend the Intercoiffure Atelier this fall in NYC.
THE LAST WORD: "I am so excited, trying not to cry but trying to just hold myself together," says Fair. I'm thankful and grateful to Cosmoprof for offering this opportunity. Thank you to everyone."
