Bellus Academy announces Danielle Sharp (Dickie) has joined the award-winning academy as Salon and Academy Director. Sharp brings a breadth of leadership experience managing curriculum for some of professional beauty’s most prestigious brands. In her new role at Bellus Academy’s Chula Vista campus, Sharp is inspiring the team to celebrate beauty as a calling, a craft and a career offering boundless opportunities.
A licensed hairstylist and makeup artist, Sharp previously served as COTY’s manager of Prestige Education. Earlier in her career she was a capability expert and field education expert with Wella, Salon Professional. Her interest in empathic learning, creativity and vision has led to multiple awards. Sharp has been honored with several color, stage craft and facilitation awards from the Global Wella Education Academy, been recognized for outstanding creative training and received the NYC International Trend Vision Canadian Wella Angel Award.
Remarking on her decision to join the Bellus Academy team, Sharp says, “This is an amazing opportunity to take my career to the next level while being part of a team culture that nurtures, coaches and empowers learners to find success in an ever-evolving and endlessly exciting industry.”
