“Instead of light on dark, this is a rich deep on medium,” says Goldwell Global Master John Simpson, director of Goldwell’s North American Artistic Team. Achieve the luxury and interior shadows by staying within the same tonal family but with a 2-level difference for the interior panels. Simpson uses Goldwell Stay Cool Brunettes (BA) = beige/brown ash series, saturating the mid-lengths and ends with the deeper shade and creating seamless diffusion from the scalp.
