Sarah, a first time client of Jacqui Neale (@jackss_) at Butterfly Loft Salon (@butterflyloftsalon), Los Angeles, California, had been working toward going platinum blonde, but was tired of the upkeep. Her hair was in really bad shape.
Here Neale shares the steps she took to complete this gorgeous makeover:
STEP 1: Cut off the excess hair.
STEP 2: Fill the porous blonde hair by mixing equal parts Wella Color Touch 9/3 and 7/4 and 2 parts Color Touch 1.9% developer. Apply to the blonde hair and let it process for 20 minutes before rinsing.
STEP 3: Apply equal parts Wella Koleston 5/71 and 10 volume developer on the mid shaft and ends.
STEP 4: Process for 30 minutes and then shampoo and condition the hair.
STEP 5: For added gloss and color, apply 1 part Wella Color Touch 6/77 to 2 parts Color Touch 1.9% developer.
STEP 6: Process for 15 minutes and lightly shampoo and condition the hair.
