Pravana shares how to "Get the Look" for Christina Hendrick's bombshell red and Julianne Hough's faux bob.

Julianna Hough at the Emmys 2012
“Julianne Hough’s faux bob from the 2012 Emmys was stunning and her hair color played nice with the flirty style” says James Gartner, Artistic Educator for Pravana.
To recreate Julianne's bob, Gartner recommends stylists begin with a heat protector spray like Pravana's Keratin Fusion Thermal Insulator. Next, take 1” sections of hair and wrap them away from the face using a 1” curling iron. Gather the hair in a low pony and tie off the bottom with a clear hair tie. Pin the loose pony under and separate with your fingers until desired shape is achieved.
"When recreating Julianne's color one would finely highlight the hair using a lightener until the strands reach a level 10," says Gartner. "Then the hair will be rinsed and a base break will be performed using a level 10 hair color and 20 Volume. I recommend ChromaSilk Sheer Platinum Blond 10.07 plus 20 Volume Crème Developer. Process the base break for 7-10 minutes, and then shampoo with a purple tint shampoo like Pravana's Pure Light Shampoo to tone the highlights perfectly."

Christina Hendricks at the Emmys 2012
Tonia L. Carrier, a Pravana Educator, was a fan of "Mad Men"'s Christina Hendrick's Emmy glamour.
"To get the beautiful Jessica Rabbit inspired hair of Christina Hendricks, use one or a combination of Pravana ChromaSilk's amazing coppery reds we are known for!" says Carrier.
On a level 6 neutral haircolor, use equal parts Chromasilk Creme Haircolor in 7.46 (level 7 with 70% copper and 30% red) and 7.4 (level 7 with 100% copper) with 20 Volume Crème Developer. On virgin hair, apply 1/2" from the scalp to ends. Process for 20 minutes and then work formula to the scalp for the remaining 15 minutes.
