Wella Professionals Creative Director, Fabio Sementilli, spends a lot time working with salon professionals on not only how to better the industry, but how to better themselves. His program: NLG, the Next Level of Greatness, is his effort to make that happen for all. "Leadership is not about a title," he told me last night when we met for the launch of Wella Professionals new color line Illumina. "It's about attitude..the right attitude."
says Fabio: "Attitude, You must have a positve attitude. Surround yourself with people who add to your life who are positive and have a great attitude.
"Integrity. You need to make sure you have integrity. Make sure its with your clients, friends and co-workers.
"Mentorship. There are so many great hairdressers out there and the best way to be successful is to give it away and pass on to the next generation.
"Vision. It's more than just having an idea. It's not enough. It's taking that vision and making it come to life...following through."
In this video, Fabio breaks it all down. "The next level of greatness is about being a human," he says. "We're all in the same business..we must pay it forward."
