Janine Jarman, Sebastian spokesperson, owner of Hairroin salon and Shear Genius 3 contestant, created this Alice in Wonderland-inspired look for MODERN. For color on her model, Jarman utilized her ‘Color Melt’ technique, “which is a melting technique I use to transition from dark to light,” she says. “This technique easily imitates a ‘surfer blonde look’ and is achieved without foils.” Jarman uses this technique on 30 percent of her clients, and while she is going a bit more dramatic for this look, she normally stays within three levels on most clients.
