February 11 brought together hundreds of stylists at City Winery for Texture on the Runway, a showcase of curls, kinks and waves, presented by TextureMedia, live during New York's Fashion Week. Runway sponsors and headliners were cheered on and given standing-room only attendance by hundreds of CosmoProf stylists and curlies.
The Curls Unleashed creative team was full of energy up on stage: Reginald Mitchell, director of education; Zac Britt, senior educator; Willie Malone, senior educator; got the crowd dancing and cheering on as texture took over the runway.
“It’s all about curls unleashed, it’s about texture, it’s about volume, it’s about attitude, it's about the combination of haute couture and coiffure... thank God almighty, hair is free at last!”
