Eddie Avalos (@scixxorhands) of Carlton Hair, Montclair, California, had a chance to update his guest, a natural level 3. "Jennifer is a regular guest who was trying to grow out her hair. She decided to cut her hair short because it's been so hot lately." The last time Avalos colored her hair was more than one and half years ago. It was time.
Here Avalos shares the HOW TO:
STEP 1: After cutting the hair, apply Goldwell Oxycur Platin with 30 volume from mid lengths to ends, all within a horseshoe section from the top.
STEP 2: Apply Goldwell Oxycur Platin with 20 volume on the root and sides. Process for 30 minutes. Lift to pale yellow. Shampoo and condition the hair. Towel dry.
STEP 3: Apply Topchic 4 mls. 10 vol. + 33mls 10V + 7mls 6A on the sides and root. Weave out pieces for dimension. Process for 30 minutes. 5 minutes before rinsing, apply the same toner on the weaved pieces. Shampoo and condition the hair.
