Following the release of the wildly popular 2022 Goldwell Color of the Year, BUBBLEGUM, Goldwell not only continued the trend in 2023 with CHERRY POP, but has once again collaborated with global trend agencies and color trend experts, and is announcing brand-new colors of the season. Colors of the Season is a new initiative from Goldwell and Goldwell will release colors for each season throughout the year. The April - June 2023 colors of the season are ROSE BEIGE and KEY LIME.
For April - June 2023 the creativity in color has trickled down to more neutral shades, with classic tones having more of a multi-dimensional quality. ROSE BEIGE is a tinted neutral that is enriched with pink, which adds a layer of warmth to the hue, allowing for a level of calm and serenity.
“Soothing beige restores a sense of calm, promoting feelings of serene tranquility,” said Jane Boddy, Global Color Expert and GOLDWELL´s trend
partner. “These reassuring qualities are retained as beige is ignited with an illuminating layer of pink, creating a sweetened, dynamic level of color in a typically classic tone. These progressive, multidimensional qualities dip between soft beige and pink within varied light settings. Rose Beige radiates sophistication with a refined level of warmth.”
For a show-stopping hue, KEY LIME is a modern green that connects to the trend of a color that often makes us think of nature, and our planet. Green has become a color that radiates vitality and fresh goodness, as opposed to the color of envy from its past. KEY LIME connects this trending green with its clean, sporty edge – a trend that has been spotted within both the fashion and beauty industries, as well as in automotive and product designs, highlighting its impact.
