Heidi Klum is a killer on and off the red carpet  and her haircolor just adds to the magic. Rona O’Connor, Celebrity colorist, Goldwell Ambassador, owner of Lucaro in Beverly Hills and Klum’s colorist, shares her formula and HOW TO get the superstar bright and beautiful.

Most important to O’Connor is to “Maintain the integrity of the hair. Blonde color is one of the most fragile and sometimes damaging inducing color technqiues,” she says. “I feel it is most important to have a color that grows out well and stays healthy in between visits.”

Here O’Connor offers the HOW TO. All color by Goldwell.

Step 1: Soften the base color by one shade with New Blonde. “This allows a softer regrowth with less demarcation and allows for fewer highlights,” says O’Connor.

Step 2: Spray dry hair before highlighting with Dualsenses Color Structure Equalizer Spray. “There is no such thing as too much conditioning for blondes,” says O’Connor.

Step 3: Highlight with SilkLift adding three drips of SilkLift Intensive Conditioning Serum Concentrate “which drives conditioner into the hair during the highlighting process. It’s amazing and prevents breakage on delicate hair.”

Step 4: Seal the hair with Colorance 10V with Clear in equal parts. Process for 7 minutes.

Step 5: Finish with Goldwell Dualsenses Rich Repair Regeneration Serum. “I call it “The Booster Shot” to protect, repair and condition the hair.”
