"It is a unicorn treat to have two great minds come together as one," says Milcah Josephian (@gotmilkyway84) about this collaboration with Toni Rose Larson (@HAIRITAGESALONCARLSBAD). The finish is the result of what Josephian says is "a match made in heaven. What a great pleasure to join forces with a seasoned veteran. To be a sponge and absorb her knowledge and skills in this industry is truly a blessing."
Josephian adds, "This creation is not only near and dear to my heart but a great pampering experience that I don't usually get to enjoy. I've always done my own color and extensions because as an artist, I am ridiculously picky and I honestly haven't found or trusted anyone who can create something that I can flaunt proudly. I was extremely ecstatic to be connected mentally and artistically with Toni. We just came together and ideas started to mesh naturally."
Their joint venture birthed what they call "Molten Lava" which was inspired by Larson's "Girl on Fire" creation. "I have always believed a great artist always looks for innovative and unique trends that push us out of our comfort zone to shine light on new eye catching masterpieces," says Josephian. "I hope this hair art inspires you all to compose groundbreaking formulations and designs. Cheers to you Toni!"

Formula #1...3oz Red + 2oz Yellow + 1oz Neon Yellow
Formula #2...3oz Neon Yellow + 1oz Neon Orange + 2oz Orange
Formula #3...3oz Too Cute Coral + 1/3 oz Orange
Formula #4...2oz Neon Yellow
Formula #5...2oz Pink + Ribbon of Magenta
Hair was pre-lightened to a level 9-10 prior to arriving at Hairitage Salon.
Install a full set of Hot Heads tape in hair extensions. Hair extension Color is #613. After installation, tone hair with Redken Shades EQ 09T + 09V equal parts developer. Process for 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, and blow dry.
Apply Formula #1 to regrowth
Using Embee Meche to isolate colors, apply formulas #2 and #3 simultaneously, melting colors together and pulling color down 4 inches.
Apply Formulas #4 pull through ends, popping color to achieve brightness, Be Creative!
Apply Formula #5 around face to achieve lightness.
Process at room temperature for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water no shampoo, condition, blow dry and style.
