STEP 1: Part from ear to ear across the crown. Working from the crown down to the nape using 1.5” slices, apply formula A to mid-lengths and ends. Work from the crown forward, applying the color in same manner using 1” slices, bringing the hair back away from the face. Apply formula B to the root area. Process for 40 minutes.

STEP 2: Rinse out with Color Post Treatment to lock in color.

STEP 3: For extra conditioning perform the Oil Reflections Reflective Service. Prepare: Hair with Brilliance Shampoo. Protect: Apply Wella Professionals Oil Reflections to hair from mid lengths to ends. Apply Brilliance Treatment mask to hair. Pamper: Use the Care3 massage technique and wrap head in warm, wet towel. Let client sit for 10 minutes under a heat source. Rinse with warm water and then towel dry.

STEP 4: Spray hair with Brilliance Leave In Balm and use wet brush to brush out hair. One length haircut. Section back of head and establish length.

STEP 5: Use razor to soften frame around face. Finish hair ends with thinning shears to add movement.

STEP 6: Recondition and prime hair with Brilliance Leave In Mousse and comb through ends. Apply Velvet Amplifier to hair to set the foundation for great style. Create volume and movement with Extra Volume Mousse, working in hands and caressing through mid-lengths and ends

STEP 7: Use Oil Reflections on mid-lengthsand ends to prep hair for blow drying. Dry hair with round brushes in three inch panels. Tightly twist into a curland pin away to create soft movement. Give it medium hold with Stay Essential Hair Spray.

STEP 9: A client can easily recreate this braid at home for a dressed up-dressed down look.
