ILLUMINA by Wella Professionals is a new translucent permanent hair color line with a 20 shade range of sheer, natural-looking tones. The promised “outstanding light reflection” has received rave reviews from colorists and their celebrity clients.

Dean Roybal, Wella Illumina Color Ambassador, worked with Rebecca Romijn, Wella’s official spokesperson.  “Honestly, I couldn't wait for the opportunity to meet with Rebecca and she wanted to be one of the first to indulge in ILLUMINA,” said Roybal.  “To achieve the ILLUMINA Color look on Rebecca I alternated two formulas—ILLUMINA color 10/1 with 40 Volume and 9/7 with 30 Volume-- and applied them in foils throughout the crown and sides. To the remaining hair around the foils, 9/7 with 40 Volume was hand painted in a balayage technique to achieve this very natural sun kissed blonde result.”
