Modern Salon Media is starting an on-going series asking hairdressers WHY each became a hairdresser. At a recent photosession, we handed the microphone over to Pureology's MKAT Hecht to not only find out why she joined the professional salon industry, but to also help her fulfill one of her dreams...to be an on-air reporter! In this video, MKAT interviews Redken artists Dhaniel Doud and Patrick Fitzwater to find out how each selected hairdressing following successful dance careers (Doud was actually a member of the Joffrey Ballet and Fitzwater was a key performer on Broadway.)
