Susan Aw (@susan.aw), an artist working at Embellish Salon in Arcadia, California, was fearless in transforming her client from a deep dark brown to this simply breathtaking dimensional lavendar, silver, blue finish. Here she offers the formula and how to:
Step 1: Lift to level 10 using Paul Mitchell DPL.
Step 2: Apply Pravana Silver+Clear from roots to ends on prelighten dry hair.
Step 3: Process for 20 minutes under heat. Towel dry.
Step 4: Apply Pravana blue + special effects cobalt blue to roots.
Step 5: Balayage this same shade to create an ombre effect.
Step 6: Process for 20 minutes under heat. Rinse thoroughly.
To protect the color, Aw advises your client use Paul Mitchell Post Color Protect shampoo/conditioner and Schwarzkopf Color Save Silver Shampoo.
To REMOVE this shade, Aw suggests using Pravana color extractor and low volume shampoo lighter as needed.
