Kayli Alesi  (@kaylidoeshair) of W Salon Studio, San Juan Capistrano (@wsalonstudio) says this new client to the salon has had, for years, "had her friends bleach and color her hair for her. Considering her hair was in bad condition, bleaching it out again was not an option. We were able to achieve these results without any bleach or color removers. Although hard to see in the picture, her natural root is a level 5/6 and was about 1/2 inch grown out."

Here Alesi shares the details for this makeover:

Step 1: To the base apply Goldwell Topchic 6VV with 20 volume.

Step 2: From mid shaft through the ends apply Goldwell Topchic 6VV with 10 Volume on dry hair, (but used Goldwell porosity spray very generously.)

Step 3: Process for 30 minutes, shampoo, rinse and towel dry.

Step 4: Glaze with Goldwell Colorance 6VV+5VV ("with an added shot of 4V because her ends were porous and didn't grab as dark as the base.")

Total appointment time was 3 hours but well worth the wait !
