Presley Poe, (@PresleyPoe) Artistic Educator, Brand Specialist and Platform Artist for Pravana based at The Parlour, NE Portland, OR, says her model arrived with primarily virgin hair at a level 5 with a lot of natural red in her hair and had a bit of previous lightening towards the mid-shaft and ends.
Here Poe shares the details for this transformation:
Step 1: Balayage with 3/4 Pure Light Balayage Lightener to 1/4th Pure Light Powder Lightner: 2 parts High Activator.
Step 2: Process at room temperature for 55 minutes, lifting to level 8G. Shampoo and condition with Pravana Moisture Rich Shampoo and Conditioner.
Step 3: Apply base formulation of Pravana Demi-Gloss Color Lush 15grms 6G. 15grms 7c:10grms 5rc
Step 4: Apply midshaft formulation using Pravana Demi-Gloss Color Lush 6G 15grms: 9g 15grms: 7C 10grms: 5grms gold additive
Step 5: Process for 20 minutes at room temperature.
"To create a softer brighter effect around the face I utilized the midshaft formulation an inch arched section in front of each ear. To create depth I made half moon sections behind the ear connecting at a 2 inch subsection at the nape saturating with base formula. Controlling her underlying pigment helped to achieve a rich and dense Spiced Pumpkin Copper with guaranteed color longevity."
