Martino Cartier is a FreeStyle Systems enthusiast. He has placed the systems (blowdryers hanging from the ceiling...so weightless) in both of his salons to make life easier for Martino and his staff. In the process, Martino has become friends with Blair Hopper, the founder and inventor of the system.

While taking a break from the Celeste-a-thon in Boston, Modern asked Martino to get the scoop of the origins from Blair. "It happened in 2010," says Blair. "This hairdresser I knew said her arm was hurting from holding the blow dryer. She was cute so I got to work. I developed a prototype to make the blowdryer weightless, placed it in her salon and the pain went away!"
