Although New York Fashion Week officially begins next week, some of the mens shows are kicking off early. The Rag and Bone mens Fall/Winter 2014 collection was presented yesterday, featuring fresh, wearable silhouettes. “The inspiration was taken from British workers’ unions of the late 70's/early 80's and improvised on 50s’ Americana," says lead stylist Matthew Mulhall, who used V76 by Vaughn to create the looks. STEP 1: Spritz a grooming spray onto dry hair to dampen it ever so slightly. (Mulhall used V76 by Vaughn Ultralight Grooming Spray)

STEP 2: Apply a nickel size of lightweight gel into the palms of your hands and work into hair starting at the crown and working down and around the face. Using a blow-dryer on a low setting, allow the gel to dry into the hair. (Mulhall used V76 Conditioning Gel).

STEP 3: Work in a wax that that will create natural movement and light shine. (Mulhall used V76 by Vaughn V-Rated Natural Wax). Next, use your fingertips to pull small sections up and out, creating piecey texture throughout.

STEP 4: To complete the look, spray a dry hold hairspray all over. (Mulhall used V76 by Vaughn Holding Spray).
