Manchester-born Sharon Cox, Sanrizz International Education Director, joined Sanrizz in 1993 when she saw its art team present a show at a Wella Academy. “I was totally impressed with their work and the way they all seemed to be having such fun on stage,” she says. “So when I saw a Sanrizz ad for staff, I applied, hoping to be successful and have a future travelling the world with the company.” Her ambition was quickly realized; after six months of training and a year working in the salon, she was promoted to Academy educator, which started her show and platform show work in Europe, Asia and beyond. Cox also works in the Sanrizz St. Albans salon to ensure the company’s education courses evolve in line with market trends and hairdressers’ and clients’ expectations.
