MODERN'S Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern, takes us on a tour of the Veendam cruise ship where we stop by the salon/spa for a tour.

In the most recent episode, Janine, the salon and spa manager, shows us the amenities offered to guests. She starts with the salon area where they do various kinds of hair services-everything from a wash and blow dry to a cut and coloring. Next, we visit the pedicure stations where clients can lounge in luxurious leather chairs while gazing out at an ocean view.
The spa also offers acupuncture treatments for anxiety, pain, weight loss, and to quit smoking, ect. Guests receive a full consultation before their procedures so the therapist can recommend treatment accordingly.
Janine then takes us on a tour to the massage area, and the VIP Thermal Suit which includes a steam room, mineral pool and heated lounge chairs that resemble the ocean waves.
