THE EVENT: Premiere Orlando, the two-day convention held in Orlando, Florida, focusing on all things salon and spa including texture, shape, color, design, trend, barbering, appliances, equipment, business and techniques.

THE DETAILS: In the 250,000-square-foot exhibit space, 52,000 guests, representing 15 countries, were able to visit 2,800 booths and attend more than 400 educational sessions. Premiere DaySpa and the Spa Business Forum were also featured at Premiere Orlando offering 130 sessions in spa services such as skin care, make-up, anti-aging, wellness, massage products and tools. Nail- World premiered 80 nail education sessions in shape, design, acrylics, gels, airbrushing, business, sanitation and client management.

MAINSTAGE HIGHLIGHTS: There were multiple sold out venues on the Mainstage and the nearby “Hair Color” and “Global Texture and Barbershop” stages. All the big names were there, among them Beth Minardi, Ted Gibson, Jan Arnold of CND with “The Blonds,” Patrick Cameron, Robert Cromeans, Nicholas French, Nick Arrojo, Martin Parsons, Sam Villa and more.
